It's Our Turn!

It's time for the sisters to make some changes, inshaAllah! 

    • Dawah / Religious team: This team will focus on meeting the need of sisters requesting to learn about Islam and Muslim Women. We believe that believing, righteous, wise and strong Muslim women should be examples to both Muslim and Non-Muslims in our community. There is a demand for Sisters Halaqah (starting from basics of Islam) as many new sisters in Islam and born Muslim sisters need opportunities to learn and grow their Iman.  Introduce an Islamic book borrowing program.
    • Social Service/Hospitality: Children and girls program, creative baby sitting ideas should be planned ahead (at-least 2-3 months).  There are many suggestions for sisters programs; the team will be responsible for organizing these events with approval from EC.
    • Education / Tutorial program team:  This team will study other successful national tutorial programs, start developing a sound proposal, and explore opportunities for writing grant applications.
